Frank A. Quinn, PhD, FACB has over 25 years experience in the design, development, and evaluation of immunoassays. In 2015, after 23 years with Abbott Diagnostics, he retired as a Volwiler Research Fellow and Director of Global Scientific Affairs. He has conducted extensive research on utilization of immunoassays in a wide range of clinical settings, and has been active in IFCC thyroid function test standardization efforts since 2007. Dr. Quinn received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, and his BS in Chemistry from the University of Florida.
